The Chuparosa - Beloperone californica
(Justica californica)

Besides having a name that is not only interesting, but rips off the lips, the Chuparosa (Sucking Rose in Spanish) is unusual in in that it flowers in many months, including the fall and winter. Sometimes the red of the Chuparosa is all there is to color the Sonoran Desert.
